Do you need something new to pop into your ear buds this summer? Something to inspire and encourage you as a mama?

These may not be the songs of the summer, but the pearls of wisdom packed in these podcasts I’m sharing might become some of your new anthems.

Unfortunately, I don’t enjoy reading. (Or maybe it’s just the season of life I’m in that I don’t have time to enjoy reading.) As a result, I’m a big fan of audiobooks and podcasts.

I like to put in a good podcast when I have some quiet time doing chores around the house or when I run errands alone.

As you gear up for summer, start building up your playlist for encouragement and inspiration!

Here are some of my favorites I thought you’d enjoy - perfect for road trips, pool visits, or just something refreshing for your mama’s heart this summer.

Celebrate Calm - a new perspective on parenting:

This is one of my favorites to share with mom’s who ask me about a child of hers who is strong-willed. It was a game changer for me and one of my own children’s relationships. And it inspired one of my favorite blog posts, the strong will child:

Breaking the chain - not passing on your emotional baggage:

I think all moms struggle in some ways with their past decisions and how those might

impact their own parenting. This episode is full of practical wisdom for us as mamas and truth we can rest in.

Tracking your kids - no apps required:

Finally, this episode is one of a series that are my favorite! They are short yet packed full of goodness. I think you’ll want to listen to them all after hearing this first episode.

Listen to wisdom, and do your best to understand.
Ask for good judgment. Cry out for understanding.
Look for wisdom like silver.
Search for it like hidden treasure.

Proverbs 2:2-4 (ERV)

Stef Blackwell

Stef Blackwell and her husband are raising their four kids and living the dream deep in the heart of suburbia, Flower Mound, TX. She’s a raging choleric and high functioning introvert, which some have said is impossible. But alas, here she lives to tell her tale. Her greatest strength is bossing people around; her greatest weakness is she bosses people around - and Jesus loves her just the way she is - today. She looks for the one mama who is standing alone and strives to bring them into the fold. God has given her a passion for marriage, motherhood, and living missionally.
